Common questions

Quottly is a course search and registration platform that exists with the goal of making it easy for students to find the courses they need to graduate faster and save money. We partner with universities to offer their online courses for credits that will transfer back to your home institution.

Our platform makes course searching easy and accessible. First, choose your home school so that your search results will show you classes that will transfer back to your home institution. Next, choose to search by: A general education requirement or A specific course that can substitute for transfer credit at another CSU or California Community College or Keyword related to a course name or subject. Select Find Classes and browse your course options.

General Education Requirements are the requirements that all CSU students must meet in order to receive a bachelor’s degree. CSU Breadth Requirements are the requirements that all CSU students must meet in order to receive a bachelor’s degree. IGETC Requirements are a series of courses that prospective transfer students attending California Community Colleges complete to satisfy the lower-division breadth/general education requirements at CSU campuses. Course Name search allows you to enter an exact course code to find direct substitutes for that course at other universities. Keyword search allows you to enter a broader search term (Ex. Math) that will populate transferable courses that fit under that criteria.
